My personal training style obviously depends on the client, but greatly borrows from principles used in a great many sports. You will NOT be strapped into a boring, monotonous machine. Instead using free weights, cables, bands and balls, balance tools, boxing. In fact if we are outside you may even do an obstacle course over a playground! Anything but dull. If your aim is simply to be fitter & healthier, then these techniques combined with a sound lifestyle approach will see you in better shape than you may have ever been in.
If your aim is to be the best athlete or sportsperson you can be, then rest assured these techniques work. You will be really tested over many disciplines.
I'm a strong advocate of correct technique in training and strength exercises and you will be taught accordingly. Greater gains can be made, and you will therefore reduce any chance of injury.
If running is your aim or a part of your sport, then you have come to the right place. We have helped a great many people over the years achieve what once was thought out of reach.
Ranging from 1st timers entering 5km fun runs, full marathons, a 70 year old play tennis, many sporting teams from to cricket to triathlon (with some competing in the great Hawaiian Ironman). I have personally helped 2 football players be selected into the AFL draft, both being picked up by Adelaide Crows & Hawthorn.
Strength training programs can be written to co-ordinate with your chosen sport for both in and out of season competition.
I have a strong alliance with several health professionals should the need arise and can direct you to receive any treatment deemed necessary.
Following is a brief list of the many clubs we have had the pleasure in helping:-
Eastern Ranges Football Club - Group and individual running (2 AFL draftees)
Rowville Football Club - Pre season running and fitness
The Knox School - Athletics program
Vermont South Junior Cricket Club - Running
Knox Triathlon Club - Year Round running technique and speed sessions
Professional Circuit tennis player - Speed, strength, agility and balance
EFL Umpires Association - Running Technique and Core strength program
